Hopeless romantic, creative, warm and personable, Dr. Pepper gal, red wine drinker, lover of many books, sucker for great architecture and beautiful feminine dresses. Not the a girly-girl, but a girls girl, so I'll make sure you're looking your best and hype you up. Independent woman who happens to be married and have two beautiful girls.
MY JOURNEY AS A PHOTOGRAPHER
When I received my first film camera, a 35mm Nikon during high school, the love of photography was born. I went from documenting my high school day to day, getting formal education in photography, then to photographing weddings, food and product. I've been in the industry long enough to see trends come and go but know that each have their place in time. I have gone back to my film roots to slow down, compose, then take that moment in time and turn it into art. I've never been more excited to see what is created on scan delivery days.
I photograph not only your moments on film, but mine as well. From travelling, day to day moments, and special occasions - I too know the importance of a memory captured in time.

Having received our wedding photos a few weeks back, my husband and I were able to re-live our magical day through Melissa's photos, which captured each piece perfectly. THE EXPERIENCE
My images don't follow editing trends, as they are photographed on film. This gives the images an inherit timeless quality. Have you looked through your grandparents' wedding albums? They're classic, you can see the love, see your family, even generations later.
